When most people are trying to monetize their blogs, they typically start with AdSense or affiliate banners. There is nothing wrong with these methods, and they can be a real way to make money with your blog. Every blog is different and not all methods are equally successful for all. When I help people to monetize your blog I look beyond the obvious methods, make sure that they do their work blog as difficult as possible for them. Here are some of my favorite less obvious techniques that I would like to use.
Don't forget about your RSS feeds:
Many people forget about their RSS feeds when they're looking for ways to monetize your blog. In fact, RSS feeds can be a great way to earn money from your content, especially if you are worried that the addition of advertising on your site may break your regular readers. The most common service for the AdSense for feeds, but run through Pheedo and Mediafed popular alternatives.
Google AdSense for feeds service works in the same way as regular AdSense advertisement. They're relevant ads contextually targeted to the content feed. You can get a payment, or on the basis of impressions (number of times, which shows the Declaration) or clicks (also known as CPC). Using AdSense in your RSS feeds perfect for bloggers who are worried about that too invasive like you also have control over how often ads appear, how they look and where they are located. This is fairly easy to configure, and Google will care about Google analytics. You can find out more info about AdSense for feeds here.
Maintenance fee:
Instead of adding advertising to your site, you can make money from the content itself. This is a great option if you have a really useful content, what do you think people will pay to access. It just shouldn't be text content, or you can also do this for your videos and photos. There are many different ways, you can sell your content.
Can turn your website into a membership site where certain positions will be available only to paying members. You could even hide all content paywall, if you like. You can start the actual membership in many different ways, but the most basic will offer a monthly subscription.
If you think that people will not be interested in purchasing a membership to your site, you could sell access to content based on pay per post. This means that your readers can pay for access to specific posts.
As with other methods we discussed, charging for your content is not difficult and there are plugins WordPress membership to make it very easy. A fairly common technique with both membership sites propose a teaser for your readers. For example if you wrote a useful tutorial, you can do the first part of the charge, but put the remaining sections for paywall where readers either have to become a member of your site or pay for individual posts to access hidden content.
Add a niche job board:
If your blog is about a topic that may be relevant to people looking for work, in particular industries such as marketing and Web design then you add the Council's work can be a good choice. The work of the Council, which is relevant to your readers is also a great way of adding value to your blog and provide additional service for your readers. Generally, there are two ways to make money from job boards. Firstly, on the branch or CPC basis, where do you get money every time someone registers their CV or for every click. Another method is to run your own job board where to change employers for the list of vacancies on your site. It's not as hard as you can first think as there are a number of job board wordpress plugins and templates that manage the entire process for you.
