Improved Firebug works with Firefox 5 +.

Firebug, the add-on web development popular Firefox released version 1.8 with a host of new features and compatibility with Firefox 5.0. More importantly, for those of you using the beta and Aurora Firefox strings, line alpha Firebug 1.9 has been published with the support of Firefox 6 to 8 Firefox. The alpha version will be obviously less stable, but if you want to Aurora and Firebug, this is your only option.


If you have already installed Firebug it should automatically update shortly. If you wish to resume the site Firebug get the latest version for a spin, head.


Much of the work of Firebug 1.8 was a behind the scenes and improvement of the speed optimizations, but there are a few notable new features, including a HTML preview reworked in the Net Panel, a few new options in Control Panel of DOM and better CSS color of ToolTips with values of RGBA, HSL and hsla.
