Reensure you that your blog is protected? I do not want a "Yes", because you cannot answer "Yes" with 100% satisfaction. You know that your site is observed with alacrity by someone?

Does not your visitors, but tons of worms, viruses, spyware, spam and hackers who are finding a way to put an end to your blog. You need to protect your property - it is your responsibility.

You must be heard some news on the site security breaks each day. Most of them is cause of bad care. Most of us is not alert on these security problems. Poster, comment, all of which share is us. There are hackers who want to break your password, there is a lot of to that can make you close the whole blog. All you need is to spare a little time to increase the security of your blog.

Here are some tips that can help you to increase your blog security measures and ensuring security.

1. To update your blogging platform

Updated often blogging platforms. One of the main reasons why they update often is to increase security measures in correcting Bugs. If you use blogs as Google Blogger or Tumbler platform they will update their autonomy. But for professional bloggers who use the self hosted WordPress - update is necessary. Whenever you update your WordPress security of your platform blog also increases. If the first thing you need-keep up to Date

2 Make sure that your computer is not swallow your blog

"Why blame my computer?". My blog is on the web "-you can ask me that." But don't forget that your computer is the regular door that links to your blog. There may be thousands of follow-up of Trojans and other worms in your computer, which will follow everything, including your secret password and holes in the structure of your blog. The best thing you can do is - protect your computer with Antivirus and Antispyware programs. Use some Antivirus software, including Internet security. It's better choices.

? Norton

? Trend Micro

? ESET smart security/smart

3 Are you sure that your password is not "123456" or "princess"?

Passwords are important in web security. For a self hosted WordPress-you need to deal with many passwords - for your Blog, database, FTP, and the host. Then make sure that they are strong. Many studies proved that most of us use weak passwords such as "123456", "princess" or our name. These cracking passwords is just the kid game for the pirates. This is the importance of strong passwords.

Make sure that your passwords

Contains 12 characters or moreIncludes figures and characters like!@#$%&* ":? '" Contains a small and capital different charactersAre for the name of user WordPress, database, host, and FTP

And change the password in all 6 months.

It is almost impossible for hackers to find your password strong as '$ % Q & u03% t? #' (I hate when they do!)

4 Don't forget to save.

Always to backup before making significant changes. Back up your database, your whole blog and resources.  Most hosting providers have one-click backup services. To do this time in a month. Backups are tools designed for the restoration of your site, where there are threats. (Google's Blogger has its own tool "export" to back up-use it).

5 Akismet does not any (must have plugins for protection)

I noticed while I was participating in a # blogchat who most people think-comment spam are security threats only to their blogs. They install Akismet (or similar plugins), sit and shout "that goes to the problem of spam now me?". Spam are only a small part of villains. They simply contain a link or a message that leads to another location - it is all. But for the other worms - they break the root of your blog. This is the need for security plugins. You should choose their carefully-sure that they are not garbage.

These are the best plugins that will keep your blog secure up to a limit-

¤ WordPress Antivirus(look's_for_holes_in_your_code;_inform_bugs)

¤ Exploit Scanner (scan files and database; inform you when found all suspicious things).

¤ Security WP Scan (scans your WordPress installation and suggests corrective actions on the database security, passwords, file permissions and WP admin security).

There are many others choose with care.

6. Beware of hackers (and if you are hacked?)

As I said above, it is unable to secure your site 100%. But you can increase up to 99% if you have followed above steps. But the pirates are still tough guys. They can inject some junks to your blog and cracks and codes in a certain way. Join some of the tools of protection as vaultpress - if you want.

If you are hacked, first of all inform your hoster. Ask them of protection measures. Block IP address suspected hackers, change your password immediately and set file permissions. You can read the WordPress FAQ for more technical information. After all to remain calm when you are hacked - you can make.

That's all.  I am not a tech geek to explain the technical aspect of security, but still you can read in the WordPress Codex. This is the main advice to protect your site - I've tested. If you have safety tips-please share. I am looking for answers.  If one last question - are sure you that your Blog is secure?
