Are your Blog comments good, bad or ugly?

I noticed something funny reading Penelope Trunk blog last year. She had one or two readers who leave comments crossed.

It is normal to people who leave comments rude or angry about your blog when you have a big as Penelope readership. You can guess that a few people are incensed by what she wrote.

I love the blog of Penelope because she says what she thinks and feels, it is direct and tells it like it is. She is also brave enough to share his personal life in a way that many of us might be afraid to.

And as if all this were not enough, she likes to create controversy with positions as the argument to pay less than moms.

That is what makes these commentators have irritated anger? It is his opinion, his State of mind or the way she wrote? Sometimes.

But what makes some faithful readers of Penelope hate is when it is not post on his blog often enough. Some people get annoyed because it does not have a regular posting schedule and when it position, it is sometimes to a webinar.

That is correct, that readers complain because they want to read more of his stuff. It is a hijacked compliment.

But I want to talk seriously about comments because they are a vital part of my blog. If I had never had a blog comments I would have soon given to blogging.

Comments make a blog come alive, creating a community and enrich the subject.

First impressions count, and if I come across a blog and see that each post has zero comments I jump to conclusions. Even if your writing is wonderful, you are a global superstar and the paparazzi tailgate you on a daily basis, a blog with no comments makes you look like a loser.

Sorry for so to speak, but tough love is necessary here because it is common to this problem and so easy to fix.

Absolutely don't let not your blog get no comments. Just arrange a swap of comment with another blogger (or three) to get the ball and promise each other to leave a comment on every single blog ticket. Get the first comment is always more difficult, but once, you have a comment others come more easily.

I was lucky my friend Teresa encouraged my blogs by leaving comments without being asked, but there is no shame to ask people to leave you a comment.

Of course, you don't have many comments when your blog is new and you should not expect to. Must be for months to build a big readership and a very small percentage of your readers is never leave a comment.

Just promise me that you'll get a comment on each post. And don't forget, I could check on you.

There is no such thing as a bad blog comment.

Get a "bad" of an individual comment is a badge of honour. A rite of passage that shows that you have made as a blogger. Well play. Kindly answer or ignore it, the choice is yours.

Your blog develops as Penelope Trunk, you will find that the odd negative comment slips in. It is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

I know a blogger who is intimidated by other bloggers in the comments and on Twitter. For some reason any other pick bloggers on him and apparently this is common in some circles of blogging.

Because I write a lot of personal development, I was lucky that my readers are good, caring people. Avoid controversy at any time and send virtual rays of Sun to my readers, but I have always known a few ugly comments on my blog.

What me la, it was that they were people who seemed intent on sabotaging my writing and the career of blogging. They were jealous? Generally aggressive? Or simply little wise? I don't know, but it is something, that you need to get.

We writers and bloggers are sensitive types, but we can't hide because we are afraid of what other people say. We cannot stop the blogs by some critics and we must dwell not on negative comments.

If you have a problem with negative comments on your blog and you answer politely and then find yourself getting into arguments on unrelated topics and spend more time on that on the new articles of the blog writes there is a solution.

Delete comments.

It is your blog. You don't say what goes and what doesn't work, and you need to take control of your comments.

If you get a few negative people hanging Tower positive people may get fed up and disappear.

I am committed to freedom of expression, but there are limits to that on my blog. He is responsible for blogging to remove shock, crass or comments that add nothing to the conversation of spam. I also remove unnecessary links in the comments.

I have rarely had to do, but I simply want you begin so that you know what to do when it comes to your blog. If comments are taking the trouble you are not with her, decided on a policy of comments and act on it.

People who leave the bad comments are known as trolls. They have been around forever and they will always be around. But they are just trolls. You and your readers should get upset by them.

Comments from my blog, motivate and inspire me. They are useful blogs. If you feel the same show your readers you appreciate their comments by reading and responding. You do not have to respond to every comment but blogging is a conversation, not a unilateral release and answer let your readers know that you listen too.

Finally choose the name you leave in your blog comments carefully. Name of business or a blog may seem spammy and it is difficult to relate to a person without a name. If there is no image you may not even know if your commentator is male or female. I know it shouldn't make a difference, but it is strange and difficult to relate to a person without gender equality.

Because I want people to know my name and my blog I usually leave a comment by Annabel Candy, successful blogs or Annabel Candy, Get In the Hot Spot.

It's easy. Just end your blog with an open question for the conversation can continue and your blog will be enriched with the ideas and the ideas of others.

What are your top on obtaining advice from more comments on your blog? Have you ever had to deal with negative comments? We'd love to know.

Psalm ironically I visit family in the United Kingdom right now so I might be slow replying to comments or even not able to respond to all the. Bad isn't it? But I will read the comments and I know that the conversation will always go without me because you are amazing:.

Thank you for reading commenting Blogging successful. I appreciate your comments.
